Neutral Wireless will be attending IBC 2026 in Amsterdam from 11th-14th September 2026.

Following on from our previous IBC Accelerator projects (including last year’s, where we flew a Private 5G network on an ultralight aircraft), we are pleased to be involved in this year’s IBC Accelerator project: “Network Control: Your Connection, Your Choice”.

This year’s project explores how broadcasters can move beyond best-effort connectivity, using standardised network APIs such as CAMARA Quality on Demand to make 5G connectivity more programmable, predictable and prioritised within production workflows. The project brings together broadcasters, mobile network operators, and technology partners to demonstrate how key feeds and devices can be dynamically prioritised when production conditions demand it.

Neutral Wireless is proud to be participating alongside project champions including BBC, RAI, Vodafone, the University of Strathclyde, EBU, GSMA, France France Télévisions, RTL Germany and DAZN; and other participants including SliceFinity, LiveU and Vonage.

The project will also be presented on the Future Tech Stage on Sunday 13th September, from 11:30-12:30.

You will be able to find Neutral Wireless on the IBC Accelerator booth in Hall 14, stand 14.D25, where we will be demonstrating our latest work in private 5G for broadcast and live production.

IBC has always been an exciting time for us to meet with partners, broadcasters, production teams, and future collaborators. This year is no different, and we would be very happy to speak with anyone interested in robust, rapidly deployable wireless connectivity for cameras, encoders, intercom, control data, return video, contribution workflows, or other demanding live production use cases.

We will also be visible across the show with several of our partners, including Haivision on stand 2.B32, Green-GO on stand 10.D42, and LiveU on stand 7.C24.

We will also be using IBC to talk about the latest generation of our Pop-Up 5G Pro private 5G product ecosystem.

At the heart of this ecosystem is the NW Nessie, our portable vRAN and 5G Core server platform, and the NW Etive, our high-performance, ultra-configurable software-defined radio head. Together, they provide a compact, rugged and dependable private 5G network platform, designed for pop-up deployments, multi-cell systems, and demanding broadcast environments.

Our networks are purpose-built to alleviate common production challenges: rapid rig and de-rig, low power consumption, dedicated spectrum, encoder-agnostic IP connectivity, and configuration flexibility for uplink-heavy and low-latency workflows. Our nibOS network configuration & monitoring software was designed based on the feedback & requirements of our broadcast partners – allowing for simplicity of use without sacrificing capability. We continue to work closely with various companies across the broadcast market to ensure compatibility with the tools that production teams already use.
