Standalone 5G Private Network Live in Copenhagen with TV2 for the Danish Elections

Neutral Wireless were in the Danish houses of parliament today with our collaborators TV2 and our standalone 5G Network-In-a-Box, for the broadcasting of the 2022 Danish elections.

Neutral Wireless were in the Danish houses of parliament today with our collaborators TV2, broadcasting live footage of the 2022 Danish elections over our Lomond Network-In-a-Box.

Our Lomond NIB had previously travelled with us to Copenhagen for 5G Records, and we brought it back to Denmark with us today, where we set up a 5G Standalone Non-Public Network (SNPN) on a bike in the parliament square. Operating on a 50MHz channel with an uplink-biased TDD configuration, we were able to provide connectivity for the mobile TV2 broadcast cameras within the houses of parliament. With latency comparable to wired solutions, TV2 were able to cut directly between their wired and wireless camera feeds from their headquarters in Copenhagen, for broadcast to homes across the country.
